Wow, great website
I came here before. But I did not receive password as Gmail filter your email as a spam. Today I happened to read your thread on MITbbs regarding a Russian website. Finally I figured out how to log in. Gees, an awesome web site. I like it. I guess I will come here often to make up some history knowledge and cooking skills(hoho, lots of yummy dishes). Thank you for sharing the website and your time.
I put it under Economics, since my major is this.

Gee, I'm amazed to find someo
Gee, I'm amazed to find someone else who's also majoring in Economics and likes history! I had thought I was the only one in this world to do such a stupid thing! Yes, indeed I thought it was a stupid thing, because in my opinion we should strive to publish more papers in (unfortunately, dull)Economics and ...
Anyway, you give me hope!
I love history but I never did it in such a professional way as you did! I can stop blaming myself for wasting time on non-Econ topics now...
hehe, thanks for your comment
hehe, thanks for your comments. The blog is just for fun. After hours and hours of hard computation, proof, or modeling, it's really relaxing to spend half an hour reading and writing something about history like how nomads conquered civilized nations. Hehe, reading history may also be conducive for publication, considering almost all the social scientists are conducting positive research. Of course, those guys who do normative studies also benefit from history because history is one of the most important data sources.

Thanks for your comments. I am really happy to know that you like it. :)
hehe, I set up this blog to kill time and write for fun. Since I do both political science and economics, I created categories like politics and economics. But it turns out that I spend all my time on history-related topics and dishes and kittens. hehe, those things are more interesting than what I am studying.:P
